How to: Style four apartments, four ways

May 24, 2018

Everyday we are out styling properties across Perth and boy, do we have our work cut out for us! No two homes are ever the same and this means we are constantly looking at key trends, tracking styles and working tirelessly to bring an innovative approach to every property we style.

In this video we take you behind the scenes with our creative minds Sara, Jes and Kirsten, to show you just how we style four apartments in four different ways.

Let's start off with Perth Style Co.'s absolutely favourite, Contemporary Luxe. This theme defines the Perth Style Co. brand! We are all about those sleek lines, dark timbers and deep tones which help to create an elegant, sophisticated space. To create this look, focus on luxury finishes and bold fabrics. Think brass, marble, glass, furs and velvets, create symmetry where possible and use abstract art to add a touch of personality.

Next is Urban. This theme is fun! We personally love this look for inner city apartments and funky hotspots around Perth. It is quite a masculine look so look to incorporate concrete elements, exposed brick, artwork with a photographic component and matt finishes. To get the vibe just right, the secret is a good manly smell so get spritzing your favourite masculine scent!

Another go-to favourite of ours is Coastal. Not to be confused with traditional Hamptons style, this look is fresh, relaxed and oh so Australian - maybe that is why it is such a favourite amongst the Perth Style Co. team! When creating this look at home, think Byron Bay, Bondi Icebergs, soft denims, indoor plants and loads of natural elements.

And finally, New Nordic which is a soft take on the traditional Scandi style. Jes is particularly good at nailing this look and we think it is down to her use of soft pastels, textured neutrals, soft florals and eucalyptus.

That is our four apartments in four different ways. Don't forget to let us know which style is your favourite and we hope you can take these pointers and have some fun in your own home!
